What is meebo?




Meebo is an Ajax instant messaging client that works with major instant messaging services from a web browser. Its website meebo.com allows logging onto AOL, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, MSN Messenger, Jabber (used by services including Google Talk), eliminating the need for an instant-messaging client on the user’s computer. When some companies or schools block Instant Messaging software, Meebo comes handy as meebo just needs a web browser.

It’s a lightweight, simple widget that enables you (in meebo.com) to see the people who are visiting your web page and chat with them if you’d like. If you’ve got a web page where you’d like to communicate with your visitors, meebo me allows you to see the people who are visiting your web page and chat with them!




It is very easy to setup and use. First, go to meebome.com and create a widget. Embed your new widget on your web page. When a friend visits your web page, he or she will show up on your buddy list as a new visitor. Your visitor can start a conversation with you by simply typing in the text area on the widget! As simple as that.
